Scenario
As a result of the company’s ongoing developments, it needed to increase its production capabilities while maintaining the highest level of quality. For this reason, the business was keen to restructure its production process and invest in machinery that could offer a flexible approach to a changing market.
Ferwood's Solution
Working to a short lead time, Ferwood was able to source and fully-refurbish a number of machines – including an angular saw, lacquering robot, drilling machine and multiple edgebanders - to streamline the company’s manufacturing processes and increase production rates, whilst minimising downtime.
Ferwood has provided an Angular saw SELCO with unloader, Loader RBO, turning device RBO, drilling machine Biesse FTT, upside down machine, cleaner Wanders and robot KUKA, two double sided edgebander Biesse Stream, single side edgebander STREAM and Lacquering robot with oven CEFLA.
