What are the secrets to effective routine maintenance of edgebanding machinery?

"First of all, at the end of each production day, it is necessary to completely clean the machine in order to eliminate all residue that could affect productivity the next day. We recommend that you carefully lubricate all the sliding parts at least once a week and don’t forget the electrical and electronic components. It’s also important to clean the electrics and PC control panel every two to three months.

The cleaning and overhaul of the glue pot varies depending on the level of production carried out. We suggest that you do this at least twice a year. However, if the machine is not used frequently, we recommend cleaning it out more regularly to avoid the glue from burning.

Last but not least, don’t forget to check the general wear and tear of the tools on the machine."
